2018年7月，台站成功举办一期上海交通大学海外学生科研实习，一名美国学生和一名加拿大学生分别参与Ecological Stoichiometry of Fagaceae Trees and Parasite weevil larvae at Soil Phosphorus-Rich Sites in Subtropical China, Vegetation and Aerosol Fine Particles (PM2.5)等两个科研项目。

  2018年，台站参与上海交通大学暑期学校Discovery China，组织30余名海外学生参观金海湿地公园观测点，此外，本站还还成功申请到上海交通大学2019年国际学生暑期学校项目China’s Urban Forest and Ecosystem Monitoring，目前已有来自美国、以色列等国家学生报名。
